Request for Bid/Proposal - Used Special Needs Bus Requests for Bid/Proposal- Used Special Needs Bus The Menominee County Intermediate School District is requesting bids/proposals to purchase a used school bus. The bus must rated for a maximum of 30 passengers, have tie downs for at least three wheel chairs and have a wheel chair lift. The bus must be 2007 or newer with less than 50,000 miles. Diesel engine, hydraulic brakes required. Bus must be able to pass State of Michigan inspection for school buses. Bids must include the complete specification sheet on the bus/es. Cost is to include delivery to Menominee County Intermediate School District, 1201 41st Avenue, Menominee, Michigan. While immediate delivery is preferred, the successful bidder must deliver the bus prior to February 2010. The actual delivery date must be included in the bid. Sealed bids must be received by September 30th at 10 am.Bids will be opened at that time. Bidders are welcome to attend the opening. Substitute Bus Drivers Needed We are looking for substitute bus drivers. CDL and S&P endorsements preferred. Qualified applicants can contact Lori at the ISD office for an application.
